The sects that we learned about was the Anglican, Calvinism, and Lutheranism. Anglican was made in England because King Henry VIII wanted to get a divorce but the pope didn't allow it so he made the exact as Christianity but you could get a divorce. Calvinism was made in Switzerland by John Calvin who took Zwingli ideas and made it into a reality, There was a civil war in France between the catholic and Calvinist and ended in a treaty that allowed Calvinist to have their own land. Lastly is Lutheranism, it was made a monk named Martin Luther that read the bible and thought it was wrong as made a list about it but the Catholics didn't like it. The before Germany kings liked the idea and became Lutherist, there was an war between the German kings and the catholics.

First of the Sects we have the Roman Catholics, believed to be founded by Jesus Christ, is the first and only sect of Christianity until Lutheranism, Roman Catholics believed that if you have sinned you had to do something good to counteract the bad. Then, as previously mentioned Lutheranism, founded by Martin Luther he saw flaws within the Church and wrote the 95 Theses. After excommunication Luther started his own religion. Believed that it doesn't matter if you try to outweigh the bad you just have to believe in God. Finally there is Calvinism, founded by both Zwingli who died before he could really get his point across, and John Calvin who followed Zwingli's beliefs and made the actual sect. Mainly the same with Lutheranism but with Predestination, Predestination is where God has already decided whether you are going to Hell or Heaven 10/31/2019 10:58:41 am

Lutheranism was founded by Martin Luther. Some people didn’t like that Luther had made another section of Christianity. They didn’t like it so much that, when Henry VIII of England kept the Lutherans away, he was called ‘The Defender of the Faith’. It originated in Germany, and it spread fast due to Germany not being united.

The three main protestant sects that we have learned about are Lutheranism, the Anglican church, and Calvinism. Lutheranism was founded by Martin Luther, he didn't think that good actions outweighed bad actions and he wrote 95 things about the church that he thought were wrong called the 95 thesis. It was located primarily in the Holy Roman Empire. The Anglican church was founded by King Henry VII. He started the religion because he wanted to get divorced and the pope didn't let him. The Anglican church was also primarily in the Holy Roman Empire and it became illegal to be catholic. Calvinism was founded by John Calvin. He found Huldrych Zwingli’s writings, made copies of them and gave them out to people. He believed that God knew everybody who lived and will ever live on this planet and knows who is going to heaven and hell. Calvinism was very strict and Calvinists thought that if they were going to heaven, they had to be the best person they could possibly be so that they deserved to go to heaven. Calvinism was primarily in Switzerland and France.

The main 3 main protestant sects were Anglican, Lutheranism, and Calvinism. Lutheranism was created by Martin Luther and this started in Germany, it spread around Europe but mainly in Germany, because Germany was divided into many territories and had many kings. Luther created this, because he didn't agree with the direction the church was going. He wrote 95 theses which was 95 criticisms with the church and posted it on the door of the church. Next is Anglican, Anglican was created by Henry V111 in England. He created it because he wanted to get a divorce with his wife and the catholic church did not agree with that so instead he made up the Anglican church. It still follows the bible but now getting a divorce is now legal. Calvinism is next. It was first created by a clergy member in Switzerland named Zwingli, sadly he died in fighting for the protestant wars. The person who introduced it to the public was a guy named John Calvin. It started in Switzerland but then moved the church to France. Calvin said that at the beginning of time God had already chosen who will go to heaven and who would go to hell. Those people were called the elect.

We have learned about Lutheranism which believes that your sins are forgiven and your soul is saved by the grace of god alone. Lutheranism was founded by Martin Luther because he believed that your sins couldn't be balanced or forgotten by whatever amount of good you did. King Henry VIII wanted a divorce and the pope said that it was not allowed because it was a sin, so King Henry VIII left the catholic church and claimed that him and his kingdom where officially Anglican. The last one we learned about was Calvinism. Calvinism are based on the beliefs that God already knows if you’re going to heaven or hell by the time you are born. Calvinism was founded by John Calvin. 10/31/2019 11:04:45 am

The three main Protestant Sects we have learned are first how the church wanted to have a reform movement that would split the church up. The second one is about the religion and the church and how it was wrong in ways, Martin Luther was the guy to post the 95 theses on the church door. The third one is The spread of Protestantism and how Europe and Germany wanted to become its own religion and have its own separate church that started because of Henry VIII, there was a compilation with Charles V who didn't want the spread to happen.

The three main parts of protestant reformation are being more interested in saving a soul, not setting good moral example, and internal fight for power. These were caused by Martin luther, some of the major complaints were how people didn't like the direction of the church.Martin luther indulged the tickets to heaven , this was where they bought a ticket and they thought that took them to heaven.Another major complaint was how Martin luther posted 95 theses on the church door but they were all about criticism of the church.Pope Leo excommunicates Luther because of that but Leo still thinks he's part of the church still.Frederick the wise kidnaps and protects Luther and later on Luther translated the Bible to him in german, all germanic speakers can read for themselves. Also all the protestants were all from branches of christanity.

It all started with the Roman catholic church it was the only church at the time. The people who had the most money was the church and the only people who could read was the religious people in the church and they were the ones giving all the information to the people. Some people started to not agree with what the catholic church said or did. Martin Luther posted 95 things he thought was wrong about the church but still considered himself catholic but he went to germany as a noble took him in protection he wrote his own bible in german and he handed out all his bibles and that's when lutheran sec had become. Next was Anglecan this came about because King Henry Vlll was married and kept having daughters and he figured that it was his wife's fault and he asked the pope if he could get a divorce and the pope told him no and the pope said that's not what our church stands for. King Henry was told that he could make his own church and he didn't have to follow exactly what that church said. So he told the pope i'm going to make my own church who can get divorced. He called it the anglecan church or the Church of england. He told all of england this is what we believe in now just like everything before but now we can get a divorce,he made it illegal for them not to follow his church. Next was calvinism he said and made people believe that he knew every answer to every religious question ever his name was john calvin. Mostly all of them were nobles and lived in europe.

So far this year I have learned learned that a lot of cultures actually base their rights and life style on religon and what they beileve in. Durning these times people are not equal the slightest bit. People were a lot more brutal and also worked a lot harder just to feed their families and live comfortably. Only preists could read and rarley others, so whatever the preists said the people would beileve and follow. The people always did what the preists said because they were so affraid of going to hell they were willing to do anything to keep them from going but suddenly things started to change. The first change was from the protestant reformation, they split the catholic church and created numerous of new churches becuase they did not think that the preists were sinning. The second change was calvinism,

The three main religions at the time were the Calvinism, Lutheranism, and the Anglicans. These religions were all branches of the Holy Roman Church. Lutheranism, Calvinism, and Anglicans were part of protestantism reformation. Most of the population was catholic in N Europe and Germany were part of the Holy Roman Church. There were complaints about how the church were directing people to heaven and other bad things. Until someone finally took charge, a monk, Martin Luther, noticed what the church was doing and realized it was wrong. He decided to write 95 problems with the catholic church “ 95 Theses” on the church doors. Many people started to follow him in Germany because there was no main religion or king. The Anglican church was introduced when Henry V111 the king wanted a divorce after his wife couldn't have boys. He decided to change the religion to Anglican with all of England. He then got with many women and made it illegal to be catholic. When Zwingli member in Switzerland agreed with reforming the church he then went into battle in the protestant wars and later died. John Calvin followed Zwingli and formed a Calvinist church. He then wrote the Institutes of Christian Religion, which answered all of the religious questions.
